Leon Kozicki Prize
The Management Board of the Polish Insurance Association established a Leon Kozicki Prize awarded in the annual student contest for the best master’s or bachelor’s degree theses created on the subject of insurance.
The theses are rated by the Evaluation Committee which is composed of people connected with the theoretical and practical aspects of insurance. The submitted theses can be written as final theses during the master’s or bachelor’s degree studies which end in obtaining a master’s or bachelor’s degree diploma.
Contest for the best dissertations of 2011 finished

Prolonged deadline for theses submission
5 July 2011As a result of amendments introduced by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education to the deadlines for undergraduate and graduate examinations, the deadline for PIU theses submission has been changed.

Next edition of the contest for students
We are pleased to inform that the Polish Insurance Association organizes the sixth edition of the Leon Kozicki Contest for the best final thesis on the subject of insurance. This year’s edition of the contests ends in June 2010. The official prize awarding ceremony shall take place in autumn.
We encourage all students writing their final thesis to take part in the competition!
Leon Kozicki Contest Statute
Each year, the Polish Insurance Association organises the Leon Kozicki Contest for the best final theses on the subject of insurance.
This year, in the sixth edition of the contest, the final theses can be submitted by the thesis supervisors from 20thJanuary to 30th June 2010 at the address of the Polish Insurance Association.
Leon Kozicki Contest 2009 for the best final thesis finished
In Leon Kozicki Contest 2009 for the best final thesis, the Management Board of the Polish Insurance Association, on the motion of the Evaluation Committee, decided to award the first prize to Joanna Zawarska for the thesis: “Selected sources of legal liability of executive members of companies and available insurance solutions”, written under supervision of prof. Jerzy Handschke, PhD from the Poznan University of Economics.
