Economic Knowledge Competition
Economic Knowledge Competition has been organized by the Polish Economic Society for the Ministry of Education since 1987. This is a programme for secondary school students.
The purpose of the Competition is the economic education of young people, strengthening the knowledge of modern economy and supporting the development of talented students. The form of the Competition is intended both to check the knowledge of economy and to foster the development of independent thinking.
The Main Committee of Economic Knowledge Competition, chaired by professor Stanisław Owsiak is responsible for the content and concept of the Competition. Each edition of the Competition is devoted to the central subject.
Nearly 250 thousands of students participated in 22 previous editions of the Competition and a total of more than 15.1 thousands students from 944 secondary schools attended the 22nd Economic Knowledge Competition alone. Economic Knowledge Competition is one of the most popular in terms of number of participants.
Winners and finalists of the Economic Knowledge Competition feed the ranks of personnel managers, academics and professionals in various fields of business practice.
