Regardless of the branch, an accident can occur in any company. Therefore, its owners should think about the safety of their employees and their employees’ families. When we decide to have a group policy in our firm we can be certain that the family of an injured employee will have financial means to live. What is more, in case of a simple cold or a serious disease, employees can expect medical care of the highest level.
We can choose from various offers proposed by tens of companies, therefore choosing a suitable variant should not be a problem. First of all, let us check whether a given institution will issue a group policy for a small company as not every insurer offers insurance products for, e.g. a 5-person-company. Secondly, let us consider the range of protection we wish to provide for our employees: whether it has to be only a life policy or a medical policy. The last important thing is the insurance sum - it determines what benefits can be given to a family in case of an employee's death.
We have to decide about the way the premium is going to be paid. It can be financed either from the company's assets or an employee's salary, it can also include both options (the premium is partly paid by the company and partly by an employee). You have to remember that premiums paid by the company can be included in its income. An employee may also decide whether he or she wants to include his/her family in the insurance contract (e.g. medical care for the family). The contract is usually signed for a year, with a possibility of prolongation. Premiums can be paid at once or in installments.
An insurance protecting property during transport is called CARGO. It is used by all companies whose activity is in any way connected with transport of goods. The insurance protects us from the results of destruction or theft. We are entitled to a compensation when we transport goods both with our own or rented means of transport.
Insurance protects not only against the results of thefts, destructive elements, damages or burglaries. A company is also machines and devices and thanks to them the company brings profit. Failures of machines mean stoppage in the activity of a company, which in turn indicates smaller profits and, in case of a serious failure, even a real threat of bankruptcy. Therefore, let us remember that we can insure our machines not only against destruction, but also losses which we will suffer as a result of their failure.
Construction and construction-assembly policies are designed mainly for construction industry. We can insure the whole equipment (cranes, concrete mixers, excavators) against such events as fire or flood. The policy guarantees also repayment of costs if these machines are stolen or destroyed at the construction site. The construction - assembly insurance includes also all effects of construction site catastrophes, dangerous elements (lightning, fire) as well as machine and electric installations failures.
If an insurance includes medical care, an employee is entitled to medical services in chosen places. The service cost will be automatically covered from the policy. In case of more serious events the insured can apply for benefits on account of a serious illness, an incident at work, partial or permanent work inability. The range of benefits depends on the contract. The family of the insured receives a benefit in case of an employee's death.

As a part of a group insurance - if we decide on this option - employees have a possibility to use private medical services systematically.
In case of an accident an employee will receive benefits depending on how serious the accident was and what health damage was caused.
In case of an employee's death, persons indicated in the contract are entitled to receive the benefit - most often it is the employee's family.
