Insurance Activity Act
Insurance Activity Act specifies the conditions of performing insurance activity within personal and property insurance.
It also sets the rules for actuarial profession, insurance supervision, organization and functioning of economic self-insurance.
Insurance Brokerage Act
Insurance Brokerage Act sets rules for the insurance brokerage within personal and property insurances.
Insurance brokerage refers to actual transactions or legal actions related to contracts of insurance or reinsurance performed by a broker. Brokers are only insurance agents, insurance brokers, or brokers with a license to carry on reinsurance business (reinsurance brokers).
Compulsory Insurance, the Insurance Guarantee Fund and the Polish Motor Insurers' Bureau Act
Compulsory Insurance Act sets out mandatory rules for settling contracts of compulsory liability insurance of motor vehicles, compulsory liability insurance for farmers by virtue of farm ownership and compulsory insurance of buildings which are part of the farm against fire or other mishap. It also establishes a way to control the obligation to comply with these insurance contracts and the consequences of failure to comply with this requirement, the basic principles of other contracts of obligatory insurance, objectives and principles of the Insurance Guarantee Fund and the Polish Motor Insurers' Bureau.
Civil Code
The Civil Code regulates civil relations between individuals and legal persons.
Road Transport Act
The Act defines the principles and the pursuit of national road transport, international road transport, non-commercial domestic road transport and non-commercial international road transport. The Act defines the principles of the Road Transport Inspection, as well as the liability for breach of obligations or conditions of road transport.
