EIOPA published the results of the QIS5 quantitative survey

On 14th March 2011, EIOPA published a report containing the results of the QIS5 quantitative survey. The aim of the survey was to judge feasibility, effects and impact of particular methods of evaluation of assets and liabilities of insurance and reinsurance companies and also to establish the level of capital within the framework of Solvency II.

The publication of the executive acts of level II

The Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions (CEIOPS) published, on 8th April, the last part of consultations for the Executive Acts of Level 2. The documents include the areas of establishing the capital requirement for the risk of health and wealth insurance and the calibration of the Minimal Capital Requirement. They will constitute a proposition to take into account in the QIS5 study.
The consultations were published together with a cover letter, feedback and press release.
